Eric Stratton is the President of Magdalein & Stratton, and has worked in Insurance and Financial Services since 1998. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Eric has focused his training and expertise on the design of Retirement Strategies for the unique needs of today's seniors.
Eric states, "It is my conviction that money should not dictate your retirement lifestyle. Instead, your desired lifestyle should dictate your financial strategy. However, too often I see retirees who are fearful and paralyzed by their financial situation. They are concerned about outliving their income. Husbands restrict their spending in fear of leaving their surviving wife in financial stress.
Uncertainty about the future of taxes, inflation, and social security cause them to skip vacations and live on a tighter budget than may be necessary. Retirement shouldn't be this way. It should be an enjoyable time, where you're comfortable and secure, living the lifestyle you want without fear of financial failure. That's what I try to bring to every client meeting. We stop the money from dictating your lifestyle, and instead create a financial strategy based around the retirement lifestyle you've envisioned."
Cindy Collins

Cindy Collins has been with Magdalein & Stratton since 2003. She has over 25 years of experience in financial services. She works alongside Eric Stratton to create custom retirement strategies for our clients.
Cindy is very passionate about helping retirees. Having acquired a broad base of knowledge in the financial industry, she has a unique and rare understanding of the product and rules that are utilized in each strategy, and can offer unmatched insight into the effects that each product could have on our clients' goals. Cindy is involved in every case at Magdalein & Stratton. From the first time you sit down with us, to the final implementation of your strategy, she is there to help craft the plan, explain the parts, answer your questions, and execute the strategy.
Adam Wolf
CPA/PFS, CFP(R), Executive Vice-President
Adam Wolf has been helping clients with personal financial planning, investment and tax advice since 2000 and joined Magdalein & Stratton September 2010. He has a unique skill set that recognizes that in order to be successful in retirement you must know how investments and taxes work together. He has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2002 and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) in 2005. In addition, Adam is recognized as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and earned his degree in finance and accounting from Virginia Tech.
Adam states, "People are more than a balance on a monthly statement and all too often are viewed this way in our industry. Too many advisors in our industry dictate the approach that their client should take without truly listening and understanding their needs. In too many instances the advisor’s approach is a cookie-cutter plan for many clients. I am unique and my clients are too. Unique solutions and customized planning for retirement is what you can expect from us. We spend as much time as necessary to truly understand client goals before building and implementing a plan.”
Adam resides in Atlantic Beach with his wife and volunteers his time with numerous charitable organizations.
Sam Magdalein
Senior Vice-President
Sam is responsible for operations and new client development at Magdalein & Stratton. Having joined Magdalein & Stratton upon completion of college in 2002, Sam work closely with Eric and Cindy to help implement their goals and vision for the firm.
Sam states, "It is truly a pleasure to work with Eric and Cindy. A person's character really shows, not in front of the client, but after the meeting is over. I have seen such a commitment from them, putting in extra hours until they are satisfied with the strategies, and setting aside their own interests to fulfill the interests of the clients. The staff at Magdalein & Stratton care about the well-being of their clients first, and work hard to make sure their goals are met and their retirement is secure."
Sam lives in Jacksonville with his wife and daughter, and volunteers as the Youth Pastor at his local church.
